AUM / allocation_type - SYSTEM

Hi,

Does anyone know the whereabouts of any good doco detailing system extent allocation type with respect to undo tablepsaces in 9.2.0?

I've trawled all over metalstink, and there just doesn't seem to be any docs on this subject. I realise the facility it takes away control from the dba, and if I don't see 1555s anymore, then that's fine; I'd just like to know what is going on in the background..

Thanks, but unfortunately this doesn't help. I'm looking for some (probably non-oracle corp) documentation about the internals of system allocation_type, ie. what is going on in the background, and upon what basic algorithm the whole thing is based. I'll never get that from Oracle Corp doco.. ;-)
