TKPROF : Total ELAPSED Time is CPU-Time too?

we calculate the CPU-Cost ( $ ) for serveral Transaction.
We use TKPFOF for this.
My Question is ( the costs are calculated after CPU-Seconds )
is ELAPSED Time CPU-Timing too or not

I haven't the slightest clue to what you are asking.

Agreed.

But, in general, of course, Elapsed time is not the same as CPU time. There is this little thing called I/O which also usually contributes to Elapsed time.
