    Hi,

I have an Oracle 8.0.5 database and want to track and store the logins in a table. In 8i its possible with a after logon trigger, but how do i do it in 8.0.5.

    Please suggest

    Thanks

    Thanks Jeff,

Will enabling the audit trail be of too much overhead or its fine.

    Thanks

Depends on how many times/sec you will have logins. We experienced connect times that were about 3-5% slower than without auditing turned on. You need to test in your environment and determine if the auditing data is worth the extra overhead.
