    Hi,

    We have 2 solaris boxes participating in a veritas failover cluster configuration. The listener is running on a 'shared IP address' which both the machines can access.

    Currently Node-A is ONLINE and the listener is running on the shared ip. How do I get the status of the listerner (using lsnrctl) from Node-B.

    One one of our other cluster setups, we can get the status from both the boxes.I am trying to figureout- why it is not working in my case. All the conf setup is *similar*

    In first:
    Did u declare local and remote listener in init.ora for both instances?
    In second:
    U can check what instances service by listener using:

    $ lsnrctl
    > services

    and u have to see that both instances are sevice by listener, If not see my first question.
