    Hi all!

    Any idea what is Rational Rose and how and where could we use it.Is it meant for Database Designing like Oracle Designer,Erwin!

    yes to some extent.

    it is like telelogic tool which perpares database build scripts if u formulate the uml's. these tools are mostly used for a very huge applications like telecomm applications , embedded systems or RTOS .
    Rational Rose is one of the Rational Product .

    It's a CASE (Computer aided/assisted system engineering) tool which is used for designing and producing complex applications.

    Some IT shops use such tools heavily, others have been burned by them and given them up.
