    Hi,

    I have configured standby database.

    I like to know...

When I query v$log_history of standby database, it shows the latest applied log number which is same as primary database, but v$log shows very old log sequence number???

Why v$log of standby database shows old log number even though it has applied all new logs...

    Whats wrong??

    Please explain

    Thanks

    Sameer

v$log shows redo logs, if standby s not using redo logs why sequences v$log should advance?
