    Hi all!

Would like to know the following:

1.What are the detailed configuration steps for activating DATA MINING,DATA MART,DATA WAREHOUSING,ORACLE EXPRESS.Are there any manuals/documentation available on any website to configure these.

What Books do you recommend to configure/install Data warehousing,Oracle Express, data Mining,Data Mart.

2.How should I install and activate TKPROF utility for my clients as at present I am able to run TKPROF utility only at the server. Is there any package available to do it so taht all of my individual users/clients would be able to use tkprof from their terminals and not required to come to the server to use TKPROF.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Amit.

    Solution..Lead

    Hi Amit,

Here are the solutions for your Problems.

    2)

Try to use the tkprof from the client system with
    the EXPLAIN parameter as EXPLAIN=uname/pwd@aliasdbname

still the output trace file will be in the user_dump_dest of the server .To make that job easy you can make the mapped drive or NFS on Unix system for the user_dump_dest location.

Try out this for your first Question.
