Thread: LOG and OUT files

    Anyone knows what to do with the LOG and OUT files located in prodappl/... These files are growing so huge and eating up a lot of space. Can I delete those files?
    I purge the Concurrent Request every month or so, yet those files do not go away. I appreciate your input.

    Hi,
    You safely delete those files. Just keep latest 3 days
    out and log files, other you can delete.

    Hi,
    The LOG and OUT files are generally generated when you run utilities such as adpatch or adadmin and other ad utilities.Also when you run concurrent requests these files gets generated.You can easily remove these files once you have seen them.Deleting this files will not stop ur Apps.
