    Question

How can I, make a relation between a magnetic card reader/writer and an Oracle database in order
to store/update, values from the database to the card ?

What are the instructions from the card machine for writing data to it?

For example, how can an existing text file be copied to it?

How could VB or C++ write to it?

Once you know how to do generic writing to the device, then you can ask what Oracle needs to do to emulate those processes.

    Isn't there a DBMS_MAGNETIC_CARD_READER_WRITER package?
