Thread: Win datafile limitation

    Is there any datafile size limitation in Win 2000? I know that NT restricted files to be max 2G. Have they removed this thing in Win2000?

    It is not dependant on OS per se, it is more dependant on format you are using (NTFS, FAT,...). And no, there is generaly no limit on the file size under Win2000 (or at least the limit is so high that you don't realy care about it).
