Recovery using Veritas

Hi,

We are backing up our production databases using Veritas Agent to tape.

1. How do we restore it from the backup?

Is it done in the normal way how we used to do it or
something differently.

2. We have a single datafile which is around 4.5 gbs in
windows nt server. Will this create any problem.

if u are using RMAN and Netveritas
restore process is from rman restore scripts .
RAMN script follows .

else if u are just backing hot or cold backup in netveritas tapes . then just restore the datafiles from tape . to local system and normal oracle recovery process follows .
