As SANJAY_G correctly pointed out, the Oracle9i version of the performance pack is a pretty good tool. It compares favourably with most of the other tools available. In my opinion one of the best performance tools is STATSPACK. Oracle claim that the performance pack is an extention of this, but I find it pretty useful on it's own. In addition, it's easy to extend to make it suit your purposed exactly. You won't get the luxury of a gui display and graphs, unless you write them yourself, but you will get real data to work with and it's free.

    Cheers
