    hi

    i just wanted to know whether...the resource manager in Oracle 8i is a feature of the Enterprise Edition or just oracle 8i.

    I can't see any documentation to suggest it's only present in EE so I must assume it's a standard feature. Give it a go and see if it works on your SE instance:
