    what database activities normal DBA should monitor
    and control on dataware housing? is it(dataware housing) needs any extra database knowledge?

    Well, for a start he would take care that every table has its primary key constraint set. So that he would be certain that no two rows with the same primary key would be inserted into the table.

    Now in the last sentence above replace ROW with THREAD, PRIMARY KEY with SUBJECT and TABLE with DBA.SUPPORT.COM FORUM and you'll know what I mean....
