    What is the difference between Oracle Forms version 6.0.8.8.0 and 6.0.8.17.1 . Can we Open , modify ,Compile and Run 6.0.8.17.1 version form in 6.0.8.8.0 version.

    You should be able to - the difference between the two is minor. They are both 6.0.8 - the other point difference may include a bug fix or some other minor modifications. I know you can go from 6.0.8.8 to 6.0.5.0.2 (which is going from 6i to Developer 6.0) and vice-versa as long as you are working with the fmb's.

    Hi
    All the forms ver rel are the latest versions of Forms 6i releases,
    Currenlty you have 6.0.8.18.3 and this upgrades your Application binaries of 8.0.6 to 8.0.6.3 internaly
    It is better to see the Metalink and upgrade the Forms Server bex many issues/bugs are getting solved,
    To name a few, PDF printing on Oracle Apps, Display is not getting viewed properly on Reports etc
