    Hi All,

    Just wanted to know whether is it possible to install personal oracle 8i in windows me! one of my client has windows me they claim of not being able to install personal oracle 8i in it. Please Advice.

    Personal Oracle for WIN98 works for ME also.

    Sorry, its personal oracle 8i for windows nt/2000.

    According to Metalink Note 65995.1 Oracle does not support Windows Me at all.

    I don't think NT/2000 version will work on ME, download 98 version.

    Its true that Oracle doesnt support Me at all, but i have seen oracle products working fine on ME. try the win 98 versions

    Personal oracle for Win98 works fine with Me. No more discussion.

    I really think the discussion is pointless. If you're lucky it works fine and if you aren't it doesn't. I wasn't lucky and wasn't able to install PO/W98 on a Compaq notebook with WinMe.
    Thus I'd rather say "Personal oracle for Win98 MAY work fine with Me"
