    Which OEM management package do I need to send alerts to a pager or email address.

    I understand a separate Oracle Licence is required.

    Hi,

    It's part of the OEM console, and is configured via the Configuration-->Configure Paging/Email

    As far as I'm aware it does not require any additional licensing.

    when I try to log on using the default settings sysman/oem_temp, I get a vtk_1000 error.

    Problem solved. service name had to be in the format ::
