    Hi all,

    could someone please tell me the following command mean????

    SQLNET.EXPIRE_TIME=10

    This parameter will instruct SQL*Net to send a probe through the network to the client every 10 minutes, if the client doesn't respond, it will be killed.

    DCD does not work on Windows as (it should but it does'nt) well as it does on UNIX.

    Tarry, is it a dead connection detection (means client is already been killed and detecting those clients??) or killing sessions if criterion is failed?
