Oracle Installation on Intel-RadHat 7.1

1. Starting runInstallater , nothing happens.

2. Does anybody know how to start installation in silent mode.

tried runInstallaer -silent resourceFile

does not works

Check JRE configuration.
Exclude JAVA environment variables from ur .profile or
u have to have ORACLE environment variables before
JAVA environment variables.

Because u have problem with start java virtual mashine.

what's your oracle version?
if it's 9i then you needn't install jre additonal

I am trying to install Oracle 8.1.7

I am setting up JAVA path becoz i thought runInstaller uses java from stage directory.

Anybody knows how to make installation without JVM , i mean silent mode.
