My company OnBoard Software is currently looking for someone to take the lead for our Oracle DBA's here in San Antonio. We currently have a single person administering our databases but he only has some Oracle training and OTJ experience. We are looking for someone who can step in and insure all of the proper 'DBA' type things are being done to both our development and production systems.
We are a small software company of only 95 people but are growing fast. We need someone who is a team player and is willing to mentor others. Basically we have developers running amok with no real DBA to reign them in. We are currently running Oracle 8i (8.1.7) Enterprise in both a production and development web application. (No Oracle App server but we want to consider it) We are also planning on upgrading to 9i.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to step in at the beginning and take the lead in Oracle Administration and the future development of the company. Experience in JAVA and/or PL/SQL is a big plus.
Please if you are interested in this position and wish to learn more about the company go to http://www.onboard-software.com.
Please email your resume to me at the following address: llopez@onboard-software.com
