    hi,
    Is there any view to find out abt my last shutdown.....

    ie., whether it was a normal shutdown or was it an shutdown abort.....

    It's recorded in the alert log, but I don't think it's recorded in any DD table.

    Oracle does not store the shutdown date/time but you can check the alert.log file.

    Why don't you create an event trigger and insert the information you need in a table?
