    Hi

I am getting ORA-4030 error whenever I am trying to run a BIG Sql using a lot of BITMAP indexes . I have tried to reduce
SGA, shared_pool and sort_area_size as "ADVISED" by some of people I know , But I still keep getting this error.
One of the people have told me to make user_limit of memory on OS (NT) greater or unlimited .

Hwo do I make it , What parameter on NT can I touch to make the user_process memory allocation greater ro unlimited .

    My SGA now is 357MB , Sort_area_size=1MB .

    Please advise

How much physical RAM do you have on the box? Are you running dedicated servers or MTS? How many sessions are connected? Are there any subsequent errors?

    Thanks for reply

Its is an NT system , 1GB of Ram and configured for 150 users . Only 10 users login and run reports . They never have a problem with other reports but they have one "BIG" SQL that selects everything from big tables has lots of HASH JOINS and gives this error . It is an application and so I cannot change the code .

    Please advise on this
