I have been noticing that on my nt db my library cache hit is always low..69.36. I have bumped up the parms for shared_pool_size but there has been little change.
    ANY IDEAS>????

    -----------------------------------------------------------------
Get Hit Ratio for SQL AREA = 69.36
    Get Hit Ratio for TABLE/PROCEDURE = 99.73
Get Hit Ratio for BODY = 99.49
Get Hit Ratio for TRIGGER = 99.9
Get Hit Ratio for INDEX = 0
Get Hit Ratio for CLUSTER = 99.82
Get Hit Ratio for OBJECT = 100
Get Hit Ratio for PIPE = 100

    "orakill sid thread"
from the command prompt as correctly pointed out earlier.

The SID attribute is supposed to be the SID of the target database whose Process is to be killed, THREAD ofcourse is the process address (number).

So don confuse SID of the database with the SID of v$session.
