I got message: authentication error when I tried to export tables & I login to the db as normal & sysoper.
Anyone has idea what I did wrong.

    Thank you very much.

You need to set the preferred credentials for the node you want to do the export on. The username/password is usually the "oracle" user on UNIX. On NT you should use an OS user that has the "log on as batch" privilege granted to it.

    Cheers

    Thank you Tim,

But I still confused about OMS/OEM user & database perfered credentials & Node perfered credentials.

When I login OEM as sysman (MS2K), I discovered local & romote db. I set perfered credentials for dbs and nodes, then I connected to local db, try to export table, and it failed with authentication error. I don't know why.

Also, what the user can do after i configure new repository? should I use domain user as the new user?
