Dear Friends,
I installed Oracle 9i on Windows NT Professional. The installation was successfull.
I am able to login to the database
by sys/oracle as sysdba too
I can work on it and query all data dictionary tables. But the problem is when I try to shutdown the system hangs.
I have to close the session by doing Crl+alt+del. why does my system hang? It keeps hanging for more than half an hour or so.
I am the only user connected to the system. so only 1 session.
Since it is on NT the database is on as soon the system boots because the service is automatic.
Thanks very much for the help in advance.
