Thread: SQL has the Query Analyzer

    Hi,

    SQL has the Query Analyzer to which you can use to parse querirs before they are run to make sure they are correct, is there anything simlar for Oracle?

    Yep! You need to consider EXPLAIN PLAN and/or TKPROF:

    Alot of this functionality has been built into Enterprise Manager in the tuning pack. This gives you a simple GUI.
