Thread: PERCENT BLOCKS COALESCED ?

    Hello All


    I have a quick question is it good / bad to see 100% PERCENT BLOCKS COALESCED in a tablespace? & 100% of the total extents in the tablespace, when i query the PERCENT BLOCKS COALESCED view??

    I relaize that this could be a really simple question for lots of you but i dont know the answer?

    So many thanks to anybody who does answer

    100% is optimal.

    it means that free blocks that are next to each other are joined to form 1 piece of freespace.
    Once you have eliminated all of the impossible,
    whatever remains however improbable,
    must be true.
