Call me a cheat but why not try:

    1) Start DBA Studio and connect to the instance of interest.
    2) Expand the storage and tablespace nodes in the navigator.
    3) Right-click on the tablespace of interest and select "Show Tablespace Map"
    4) Look at the distribution of blocks in the tablespace and decide what you need to do next.

    Tim,

Only possible when the databases are Configured to OMS repository. Its always better get to know both ways of doing it.

My Manager used to challenge the DBA team, howmany DBA's can do their job efficiently with no GUI based Tools. I guess only few people who have been working in Oracle technology for a while. Of course! Lots of installations have GUI tools now a days but, not all of the shops. For example, My shop doesn't have OEM configured ( though, I want to Configure) for a simple reason of "lack of resources".
