Who has 9iAS Release 2 up AND running?

After trying to install 9iAS Release 2 three different time I am looking for some help and advise.

I have both a W2K Server and a Solaris box.
Ideally I want to have 9iAS R2 on the W2K box and 9.1 database on Solaris.

The database install on Solaris is set and running.

So here are my questions:
1) After the installation of the Infrastructure and Portal part of 9iAS R2 what do I do next?
I need some kind of roadmap answer.

2) How do I config 9iAS R2 to point to my 9.1 database.

I am very new to 9iAS R2 and from what I understand is that it is very different from 9iAS R1. So any help would be VERY nice.

I have... done 6 installations already

to use portal just use url

hostname:domainort/pls/portal


you dot have to point portal, that information is obtained by application server node during installation if I rememebr right
