    Thumbs up

Can anyone give me a solution

The management want a report in an Excel.
I have a field with values as much as 25 digit numbers.
When i spool it as .csv and open the file in Microsoft Excel the numbers are changed to exponent format.
I do not want it to change it to exponent. It has to appear as a number with 25 digits.
    How can i achieve this.

I don't think there is anything you can do from the Oracle side of things. The problem is with Excel I reckon. If I create the file test.csv in a text editor and add the following entry:

    Austin,1234567890123456789012345

then open it in Excel it appears as 1.23E+24. Only by formatting the cell as Number does it appear as it should.
