I heard that in oracle 7.3.4 , the dump file can not be greater than 2G , otherwise the exporting will be failed .

SO how do we solve this problem ?

    what u have to do

is u have to give multiple file options in ur file parameter

    ex- file=1.dmp , 2.dmp, 3.dmp and so on.

Then u run the export.exe executable.

The limit is not of Oracle7. It depends on OS.

Is that 2 GB zipped or unzipped
You can gzip on the fly through a named pipe in Unix.
