    hiiiiiiii,I have 3 columns no keys on that table
    columns

    a,b and c
    a contains 20rows but it has same values i mean dublicate data.
    b also have 20 records with dublicate dat.
    My question is shall i use distinct on "a" i mean (it will display five exact rows without dublication) but mean while i need to dislay all 20 records from "b".
    i hope any one can help me

    can you display your required output.
    what do you expect for the equivalent value for b in column a.
