Logfile sequence no. problem

Hi ,
While starting the database an error is throwing :
ORA-314 log 2 of thread 1 expected sequence no. does not match
ORA-312 ...... online log ....... (name and location of the log).

The database could not be opened.

So how to get out of this situation ????

This is very urgent ....

most probably your log is either too old or corrupted, shutdown the database, delete the corrupted file and copy from another member of SAME group

I've recovered the database in 2 steps (got the feedback from dbasupport.com previous entries)

Database is in mount state.

i) alter database recover until cancel.
ii) alter database open resetlogs.
