9iAS connection problems on a Mac

Hi,

We are experiencing a problem with an in-house web forms application when the forms are accessed through a Mac.

Setup
DB Server
------------
IBM Netfinity 4x450 PIII 4Gb RAM
Oracle 8.1.7 EE

Apps Server
--------------
IBM Netfinity 4x450 PIII 4Gb RAM
Oracle 9iAS 1.0.2.2 (Core HTTP/Web Cache Only)
Developer 6i Patch 8 Forms/Reports server
Using Forms servlet setup

The problem is when the forms are accessed using a PC with Jinitiator they work fine, but when they are accessed by our Mac using MRJ clients we are experiencing intermittant connection failures causing FRM-92100 and ORA-3113 errors. We are accessing the forms over both LAN and WAN and the problems are apparent at both sites.

Has anybody else experienced similar problems with Mac clients and if so have you found a solution.

It's driving our Mac users crazy :(

Does anyone know any sites out there where I could get additional information about using Apple Mac software with Oracle?
