    Red face

    Hai ,

    I have the below entries in init.ora file.
    Is there any other important entries i missed here.
    Recently we migrated from 7.3.4 to 8.0.6 , but we are facing noticable slowness, which worked better in 7.3.4.
    So is there a way to tune , or we are missing any things in init file.
    optimizer_mode = Choose

    People say tyo analyze the tables, is there will any impact , can i know what will be the impact if we analyze,
    once we analyze, if we dont want there can we set any patameter or unanalyse.

    Is it the complete listing of parameter file? I don't see db_block_size ??

    How much db buffer do you have? and what are the buffer hit ratios?

    Sanjay
