Thread: upgrade oracle to 8.1.6

    we have oracle 8.1.5 we want to upgrade it to 8.1.6
    can anyone tell me the steps to perform this
    and then we need to run the instances running on 8.1.5 to be brought up in 8.1.6

    you should (or must) upgrade to 8.1.7 since 8.1.6 is not supported anymore
    look oracle doc, there is a whole chapter about migrating versions
