You're kinda screwed, since the 7->8 upgrade was in the 8 series an that's been discontinued.

    Hi,

According to Oracle education the upgrade exams still exists.

Oracle support the upgrade exams for a long time after the full track has been dropped:

    Hi Tarry

    The story is like this

when i was in college i cleared 7.3 OCP DBA but after i graduated i never had enough money to take the upgrade exams hence i never cleared them.meanhwile 7.3 was retired .Now i want my certification to be current so i had two options write the exams all over again or write the upgrade exams.I am extremely sacred of those upgrade exams...(although i would be gathering courage and attempting 9i thsi time )so now i am doing 8i all over again.Since most of the customers are running 8i...i better to 8i and then do the 9i upgrade exam and relax a bit for the next few years...

Hi tarry i am also preparing now for the performance tuning exam.iF possible i would once again like your advice.

    regards
    Hrishy
