    Question

Which three types of data are stored by Oracle names? (Choose three)

    A. List of available protocols.
    B. List of global database links.
    C. Names and addresses of Names Server.
    D. List of registered dispatcher and addresses.
    E. Names and listener addresses of all Connection Managers on the network.

I'm a little bit mess for this Q. Anyone give a explanation?

OK, I agree that 'A' is certainly an incorrect answer. 'B' is correct because the ONAMES server will infact store information for connections to distributed DBs via database links. 'C' is correct because ONAMES will store the locations of other ONAMES servers in the Region. 'D' is incorrect because registered dispatchers do not notify ONAMES, thus that info is not stored there. 'E' is correct because Connection Manager has the capability to work hand-in-hand with ONAMES.

Remember, ONAMES is all about "connections" form a client to a database, where ONAMES stores the "connection" information.
