    Hiiii Dba experts,
    I was installed Oracle9i on windows2000.
    When i try to export,import the data from the OEMconsole,
    I get a error.
    VTO-2018: tHIS WIZARD COULD NOT BE LAUNCHED BECAUSE THE TARGET WAS MANUALLY CONFIGURED.It can only be launched for targets which have been discovered using an intelliget Agent.
    How to configure
    plss help me any one

    on database server run
    on unix

    agentctl start

    on windows

    start->setting-> control panel-> Administrative tools
    ->services, click on oracle9iAgent, then start.

    CONFIGURED

    HII,MY ORACLEORAHOME9OAGENT WAS STARTED.
    BUT I CAN NOT EXPORT OR IMPORT THE DATA,AS SHOWN ABOVE ERROR.

    Hi

    Delete the target DB which was configured manually. Now, discover nodes - the target db. With the agent running for the db now you should be able to automatically identify and configure the target db.

    This done, now you should able to export/import.

    In addition, you need to set the perferred credential for this NODE.

    OEM Export and import

    Hiii,but my node has data,SO without removing the db and nodes,
    Shall i get a Export and Import?

    Hi

    No need to delete the physical db but remove logical db entry in OEM console tree. Now, u will be able to discover the db (with agent running on the db).
