Hi guys,
Oracle 8.1.7.3.0/ NT.
We are getting 'ORA-01006 Bind variable does not exist' msg from Report designer when we run foll. query.
select unique r.trx_number
from ra_customer_trx_all r, gl_sets_of_books g, ar_system_parameters_all a
where a.set_of_books_id = g.set_of_books_id
and a.org_id = r.org_id
and g.short_name = 'EDU'
I had set CURSOR_SHARING to FORCE at this time. After that, I set it to its default and the error was gone.
Does anybody know if there is any bug with this init parameter and is there any solution to this?
Thanks in Adv.

CURSOR_SHARING=FORCE might cause a lot of side effects.
You may frequently see Ora-600 error also
Do not use it.
