    I have a problem here.
I am using reports 2.5. I have a column called Amount which might have about 10 digits so I gave a format mask "$NNN,NNN.00" something like that. That column prints "******' Astricks for that amount field. If I take out that format mask then it prints all the digits properly.
This column in tha databse table didn't have width specified for it?
Can anyone please help me why the format mask property for that amount column prints the value isn astricks.

    Pleeeeeease help me ASAP

    thanks
    Saritha

did you check on the value of the field and make sure it does not exceed the digits allowed?

me personally don't know about reports 2.5, but in sqr if something like this happens, it means the mask cannot hold the value (i.e., value 'overflows'/has-more-digits the mask).

    Hi,
Please increase the width in the property pal.

For example if the width is default 8 change to 12.
    Thanks.
