Thread: Determining Initial and Next extent size.

    I'm not involved in a development project but just KNOW I'll be asked to build the schema when its completed and ready to go Live.

    How would I go about specifying storage params, extent sizies etc for already existing objects that wil be passed over to me when development ends.

    Could you be specific. You mean while moving it from DEVT to PROD? If so estimate the growth of the objects with analysts and create the objects with Right staorage parms and import the data from development. I don't see the problem here...
