Migration

Oracle 7.3.4 Migrate to 8.1.7
H/w Unix 10.20 move to 11.0
Database size 45 GB.

Hi all need help related to migration.
Presently we are planning to do a cold backup from HP 10.20, copy to HP 11.0 and do the migration. Due to copy and migrate the process may take around 15+ hours. Is there any way / better way to complete the migration and minimize the downtime.

Any help in this regard will be of great help.

If the data is very valuable, I would also suggest a logical backup such that incase if the cold backup fails for any reson, you would have the logical backup to rely on.
