    Hi friends,
    I was just wonder to know if we can have multiple instance running simaltaneoulsy for a single database.

    If i dont have OPS and have just one M/c where i have one database.In this situation can i have multiple instance runing simultanesouly.

    Without OPS you cannot. OPS itself is very much dependent on the type of Hardware you have.

    why would you want multiple instances on one machine for one database ?
    Once you have eliminated all of the impossible,
    whatever remains however improbable,
    must be true.
