    What is the differences between AUTOALLOCATE and UNIFORM when you create the LMT?????

    Please explain this for me

    autoallocate option let's oracle manage extents(thus you can't specify the sizes of objects created in that particular tblspc) and thus rendering you with no control whatsover.
    Where as uniform size xxxk you can specify the extent sizes.

    When is do you use AUTOALLOCATE versus UNIFORM ??? can you give me some example of when you will use AUTOALLOCATE??? and UNIFORM???

    You might like to use UNIFORM to eliminate dynamic extending if you know exactly about your table size.
