    Question

    Hello,

    How to identify open ports after installtion of Oracle Client or Oracle Server on NT?

    Is there any way to close Open ports? IF 'yes' then how do I close them for security purpose?

    Hi,

    To identify try "netstat -a" command.

    I don't know how to close or open...
    by using firewall.. may be...
    let's eat fish!

    addition to my previous words..

    may be you can investigate this file:

    c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\services

    inside this file we can see the list of available ports...
