    Angry

I have recently installed Oracle 8i on a Windows NT machine and imported a database that is the backend for a website. After import, the user that the website uses to log in does not have permissions to execute any of the packages.

I have tried granting permission while logged in as System, Sys, Scott and the schema owner of the packages, and keep getting an error that I don't have the rights to assign those permissions.
    Any ideas?

No passwords or user names have been changed or added except the one that the website uses to log in.

    Thanks,
    Jessica Jones

try recompiling your packages and any other invalid options

Usually after importing most of the packages gets invalid u need to recompile all . since u have not changed any permissions after importing ans i presume you have done full database import .
