    Hi,

I understand there is an alternate forum for this query, yet many of you may be of great help.

Can any one help me in changing passwords in Oracle Financials 10.7 ?

I am new to Financials. A user have forgotten the password. I have the super user priveleges and have to change the password of the user.

    I don't have a clue about it.

Its quite urgent. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Nandu

    Hi,
Login as sysadmin in Oracle financials --> Go to System Administration -->Go to Security-->User-->Define-->Click on Find and enter the username --->Change the password in the password window and save it

    Thanks Rohit it helped!

I tried the same and was stuck up with querying the user. When ever I enter the user name it pops the message "User name is already in use. Please enter a unique name".

Finally I managed to browse through the user and changed the password.

Can you suggest me how to query the user from the /N/S/user/define screen?

If I enter the username and click find, it pops the same error.

    Thanks
    Nandu
