I have a book coming to prepare me for the 8i exams...but have a mate giving me 9i. Is this a basic upgrade or is it a different look software package?

Do i need to use 8i or will 9i be sufficient?

    Hi,

Oracel 9i is all together a new version of Oracle with lots of new features. As you are planning to enter the industry between two versions, its quite difficult to tell which version to choose. The future is of 9i so u should know 9i but all existing DB are on 8i so u must understand that also.In my personal opinion u should go for 9i.

    Take Care.
