    Hi Gurus....

    Is there any special setting for Listener in order to respon
    thin JDBC connection?
    (since thin JDBC use direct socket connection, without sql*net load)

    I still unable to establish the connection:

    Thanks a lot in Advance...

    No special setting is needed for the thin driver.

    My guess is that you put the database name instead of computer name/IP address in the connect string:

    conn = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:oracle:thin:scott/tiger@tmsd2:1521:TMSD2");

    Try:

    conn = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:oracle:thin:scott/tiger@imron:1521:TMSD2");

    or write the IP address of the imron computer there.
